Accounts Payable Clerk

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible of entering data for 45 -55 communities.

 

This is a Four (4) month Contract

 

The ideal candidate possesses:

 

  • 2 – 4 years experience in an office setting doing data entry in a high volume environment;
  • Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent;
  • Excellent data entry skills;
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel;
  • Ability to work under pressure with weekly/monthly deadline;
  • Ability to multi – task;
  • Work independently;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Attention to detail;
  • The ability to communicate professionally in English and French in both their verbal and written exchanges is preferred.

Practicing our corporate values of R.E.S.P.E.C.T., the successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

  • Entering data of vendor invoices;
  • Opening and sorting all incoming mail/couriers related to Accounts Payable;
  • Initiates the new Vendor Process;
  • Performing other duties assigned by Accounts Payable Supervisor / Manager.
