Maintenance Person

The successful candidate will handle the repairs and overall building maintenance processes in our retirement residence. Some of the duties/skills required for this position will include, but are not limited to, the following: painting, cleaning, plumbing, yard work, unloading deliveries, and assisting residents. The primary responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to, completing various routines for preventative maintenance, general repairs, daily monitoring of building systems, conducting monthly fire drills, and overseeing any service contracts.


This position requires working full-time hours, including some on-call shifts for emergencies in the residence. An Occupational Health and Safety Certificate is an asset as is WHMIS. The ideal candidate possesses related work experience, a valid driver’s licence, and is a co-operative team player.
