Accounts Payable Clerk - Filing

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, the Accounts Payable Clerk - Filing  will be responsible for scanning and filing of paid vendor invoices and statements.

 

The ideal candidate possesses:

 

  • 2 – 4 years experience in an office setting in a high volume environment;
  • Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent;
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel;
  • Ability to work under pressure with weekly/monthly deadline;
  • Ability to multi–task and work independently;
  • Strong organizational and communication skills;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Ability to stand; lift and move boxes of records;
  • Bilingualism is an asset (English/French). 

Practicing our corporate values of R.E.S.P.E.C.T., the successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

  • Scanning of supplier invoices and /or back up and supporting documentation;
  • Filing of supplier invoices and /or back up and supporting documentation;
  • Supporting requests from internal departments and auditors (internal/external);
  • Supporting annual turnover of records and removal to off-site storage;
  • Performing other duties assigned.
