Our well-appointed, full service retirement residence requires a part-time Housekeeper/Emergency Responder. This role is an exceptional opportunity for an energetic, self-motivated person with one (1) to two (2) years of related experience and excellent customer service skills.

This opportunity requires availability on Saturday and Sunday between 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

The ideal candidate is able to work independently and under time constraints while observing policies and procedures as well as work standards and safety regulations. The incumbent has experience working with chemicals, cleaning products, and cleaning heavy equipment; must possess a valid 1st Aid and CPR certificate. Experience with seniors is an asset.

The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Cleaning residents’ suites, offices, and common areas;
  • The laundering of resident linens and their personal laundry.
