This full-time role is an exceptional opportunity for an energetic, motivated RN or RPN with two (2) years of management experience in a retirement or long term care residence. As a self-motivated team leader, you will hire, train, and supervise the resident care team and assume responsibility for the provision of quality care for residents and, in the absence of the General Manager, the retirement residence. You will put your excellent communication skills to work as you liaise with resident families, physicians, and all community health care agencies, as required.
The successful candidate possesses a valid Certificate of Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario and holds current first aid and CPR certification. In addition, the incumbent is able to demonstrate strong organizational and assessment skills. Knowledge of relevant legislation is essential, as are computer skills.
