This role is an exceptional opportunity for an energetic, enthusiastic individual with three (3) to Five (5) years of related experience in Assisted Living or Long term Care. Drawing on your excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, you will be responsible for clinical support, education and guidance to all nursing staff; residents & families and non-nursing staff. The incumbent supports the Director of Care in all aspects of providing continuing care.
The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, co-operative team player and an effective communicator. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a working knowledge of Excel and Word, and ability to work on multiple tasks while meeting assigned deadlines will be required. The ideal candidate possesses a successful completion of a Bachelor Science degree in nursing and current nursing registration in the province of Alberta. The candidate must be able to work various shifts mainly days and weekends.
Successful candidate must provide a current vulnerable position/sector screening (VPS) and criminal record check.
