This is an exceptional opportunity for an energetic, motivated leader with management experience in a similar setting. Furthermore, the General Manager will play the lead role as they direct and support the management team, and is responsible for the overall operation, management and marketing at one of Chartwell's gracious full service retirement residences in Gravenhurst, Ontario.
This is a one-year contract opportunity.
The successful candidate will possess demonstrated skills, experience, and knowledge in the following areas: leadership and organizational development; marketing and sales; and financial management including budgeting.
Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills are essential, as is excellence in achieving continuous quality improvements. Previous experience in the seniors’ retirement or hospitality industry and a strong knowledge of surrounding areas and communities is required.
Successful candidate must provide a current criminal record check and vulnerable sector search.
