As an enthusiastic leader, reporting the General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and effective management of the food services department, including meal preparation and the hiring and supervision of dietary staff.
In this key role, you will create menus, monitor daily food preparation, and accommodate special dietary requirements. You will also provide direct supervision of the food services staff, maintain budgets, monitor inventory and cost control systems, and ensure compliance with public health guidelines.
Your current qualifications include a post-secondary degree or diploma in a related program from a recognized institution or a Red Seal designation or Food Service Supervisors Certificate and a minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a volume food preparation environment in the healthcare or hospitality industry. Experience with seniors is an asset.
Successful candidate must provide a current Vulnerable position/sector screening (VPS) and criminal record check.
